  A train lover's paradise

  Liked: We had a really great stay! The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was good, and I absolutely loved the view from our window. Watching trains come and go was actually part of the fun. If you're a train enthusiast, you'll love it! The parking was great too. I arrived in an Audi A6 and had no trouble at all getting in or out of the parking spaces. I'd read several reviews complaining that the parking was only suitable for small cars, but I honestly have no idea what they were talking about.

  Disliked: There was just one incident that spoiled an otherwise perfect stay. The hotel had clear instructions: hang the special sign on your door if you want housekeeping, and if you don't, you won't be disturbed. Simple enough, right? Well, apparently not. One day, a member of the cleaning staff suddenly opened our door and tried to walk in without even knocking! We were travelling with our dachshund, who had recently undergone spinal surgery, and we were being extremely careful to limit her movements. The unexpected intrusion startled her so badly that she jumped straight off the bed, exactly what we had been desperately trying to avoid. Thankfully, she was fine, but the whole situation was completely unnecessary and could have had serious consequences. It's a shame, because everything else was genuinely excellent. Without that incident, this would have been an easy 10/10.

  Liked: Location. Friendly staff

  Disliked: Power went out for four days... No elevator and the first day not even power to charge cellphone or laptop. Breakfast was disappointing those days. Not at all what I was expecting....
