Very good
Disliked: No parking space was available when I stayed. Hard to park on the streets
Cool
Liked: Location, peace, staff.
Disliked: Elevator is little bit far?! Only on one side of the building.
I will not book it again
Liked: Location is the best if you are visiting BMW Classics, Factory, Museum or Welt – that is the only positive point.
Disliked: booked a room with large bed, given a twin-bedded room. When complained at reception the young receptionist was not aware that the 2 room types exist arguing that only twins existed in the hotel.. and she went up to the room to verify that the room had 2 beds wile I explained that I book a large bed and not twin beds… after arguing and showing the reservation and the room type booked, the room with large bed appeared, with the senior receptionist saying that the hotel was fully booked (while rooms were available online!) I would prefer to have had this issue sorted out with the middle management that was present at my arrival, but no!… it was delt with a senior receptionist that not only lied about occupancy and then gave the excuse that the young receptionist was not aware of the different room types! And of course, this issue with bedding, after an issue with parking, lead me to be more than 1 hour late to my business dinner in town… asked for parking by message on the reservation and at arrival at 20h00 we got the answer – “we don’t have parking spots left, it is on a first came first served basis” – that means that you book a room 1 week in advance and ask for parking but park your car 1km away while the dude that books on the day of arrival and arrives at 15h gets a parking spot! Totally unfair and on total disrespect of those booking in advance!!! on the next morning after breakfast asked for parking for the second day for what the reply was “we’ll put you on waiting list”… 3 days after I’m still waiting for a phone call saying the parking spot is available for me to move my car from the parking 1km away, and that between 2 meetings in town!
Liked: Everything.
Good one-night sleepover between a long drive
Liked: Location near Olympiapark and the BMW World. Many interesting restaurants around/walking distance. Nice concept with the snacks and drinks "bar" that can be purchased. There is actually free parking in the road just behind the hotel (depending on availability of course)
Disliked: Initially wanted to drive into the hotel car park (15€ per day), only to find a note that you have to go and check in first. Everything is one-way streets / tight, so it's not so easy to just back up to in front of the hotel. A big note that checkin must be before parking would have helped. Only because of that, found that just parking on the sidewalk is OK for pretty much the whole street behind the hotel.
Excellent, affordable for short stay
Liked: Staff were brilliant and attentive. Great choice for breakfast and plenty for every diet. Replenished promptly when items ran out. The hotel was very clean and also promotes eco-friendly practices. Parking on-site if you have a car. Excellent for a business stay if working in the general area. Reasonably priced menu for food and snacks - bar area open 24 hours. Kitchen closes at 23.00 so a late night meal is possible.
Disliked: No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. A 10 to 15 minute walk to the nearest U-Bahn to get into central Munich. Very much a residential area with a couple of nearby restaurants, so no real choice. Not really a tourist hotel due to the location.
