  Great location with good access to city centre and main train station close by

  Liked: Room was spacious and the tram right into the city is a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

  Disliked: Breakfast was pretty average and the food in the hotel was basic but very expensive.

  All in all liked the location, the bar downstairs the room size and the helpful staff

  Liked: Breakfast was a bit too expensive compared to offered food selection. But the food was of a good quality. Sometimes needed to wait for the food to be replenished. The room was clean.

  Disliked: Just could not make the air conditioner to cool the room. Opening a window didn't help. It seemed like the air just could not get int from outside. Also the room had the windows to the street, and the noise was not bearable.

  Good facilities, but ruined by a serious breach of privacy and unacceptable management behavior

  Liked: Novotel Arnulfpark is very close to most sights in Munich, about 20 minutes or so with public transport. It has a cozy atmosphere inside, while the public areas are squeaky clean. The hotel staff in restaurant and breakfast areas is very professional and well coordinated. There were some minor issues with cleanliness in my room, however, but I would still consider it clean enough. My room also had very good soundproof insulation.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, a serious incident occurred on the third day of my stay. Before leaving, I placed two signs on my door handle: Do not disturb and do not clean. I double-checked they were properly placed and clearly visible before I left. When I returned to my room several hours later, these signs were gone from the handle. Instead, I found them inside my room. I immediately realized that a member of staff had entered my room but I did not know why. Nothing was missing, damaged, or even cleaned. I went directly to the reception desk. Initially, they denied that any member of their staff had entered my room. However, they informed me that a technician would check the electronic lock's card reader the next day. The following morning, the technician arrived and confirmed exactly what I had suspected: A member of the hotel staff had indeed entered my room. But instead of addressing the issue, the Reception Manager shifted the blame onto me. She accused me of leaving the room’s garbage bin outside in the hallway, claiming that the staff member had no other option but to enter my room and put the bin back. This was a complete fabrication. Shockingly, the Reception Manager kept repeating this lie over and over again while literally laughing in my face the entire time. I was expecting a proper explanation, some reassurances that it won’t happen again and maybe even a simple apology from day one. That would have sufficed. Instead, I was mocked and insulted by the Reception Manager.

  Great

  Liked: The cleanliness of the rooms are exceptional. The hotel staff is amazing and very helpful. The hotel is near 1 tram station 5 minutes walk and S-Bahn 7 minutes walks and the Hauptbahnhof is just 10 minutes by the tram. Totally recommended

Guests who booked the room with the breakfast option can bring up to 2 children (15 or younger) to the breakfast buffet free of charge. In addition, 2 children aged 15 or under can stay in existing beds of the room with the parents or grandparents free of charge.
