  we really enjoyed our stay

  Liked: We had a great stay at Ruby Lilly by IHG in Munich. The hotel has a stylish, modern atmosphere, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The location is excellent for exploring the city, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

  Disliked: Sadly, the parking garage was full when we arrived

  The four-star rating is an absolute joke

  Liked: The location and staff is OK

  Disliked: Literally everything is just bad: - self-check:: painfully inconvenient (and also didn't work) - the toilet block is not creative - it's pure nonsense. If you're a couple, make sure you've been married for at least twenty years, given the level of privacy provided - the bed was unique - in such a room, a person of a *slightly* above average build needs to squeeze in forcefully between a bed and a wall just to have some rest. Framing all this as creative is grossly unfair.

  OK for business people

  Liked: The breakfast was wonderful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Excellent location. Safe for a single room to stay there but it is mainly for business people who need meeting rooms and travel solo.

  Disliked: I was downgraded from a better room because I asked if I could be near my daughter but I wasn't told about it. If I had known I would have taken the better room. My daughter had an ensuite bathroom. I wound up with the shower at the foot of my bed. Unfortunately the shower was make of clear glass and slippery for a senior. The toilet was also in the room behind frosted glass. My daughter lost her hot water and had to take a shower in my room. I sat facing the window until she was done. Ridiculous. I should never have been downgraded without my consent.

  We loved the location, it's a relatively short walk to the city center

  Liked: We loved the location, it's a relatively short walk to the city center. The lobby/bar/office/lounge area IS AMAZING; it's very cozy and elegant, inviting you to hang out and have a drink. The whole hotel is very comfortable!!! Fantastic breakfast with a lot of variety!!

  Disliked: Overall, everything was very good. The rooms are a little small, but everything was excellent.
