  Fine stay for busy 5 days

  Liked: Very quiet and perfect for sleep, clean and nice facilities. Close to center and public transport.

  Disliked: Housekeeping is not scheduled for 5 overnights. Breakfast (the scrambled eggs- the only cooked dish) is literally tasteless, so there's big space for improvement.

  A well-positioned comfortable hotel with friendly staff and an excellent breakfast selection

  Liked: The location of the hotel was very good. The breakfast was varied and provided everything we needed. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Christian advised us when we checked in that we had been had upgraded to a suite, which was very welcome. The suite was large and very comfortable.

  Disliked: Nothing.

  I'll come back if I'm in Potsdam

  Liked: I liked the location—conveniently close to the train station, attractions, and restaurants. A well-designed, cozy room with a very comfortable bed. Finally a room that actually had space to sit down, unpack, hang up my jacket, and make coffee or tea—something that isn't always a given. The same goes for the bathroom: it was spotless and well-designed, with a comfortable shower and a large vanity area with a sink and a shelf. I have no complaints whatsoever. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night. The price also included a breakfast with good coffee and a wide selection of hot and cold dishes.

  Central and modern

  Liked: Pluses: Centrally located between Nikolaikirche and Holländisches Viertel with all tourist goals within walking distance. Rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast selection was okay.

  Disliked: Minuses: It is a rather large hotel and for the number of guests here, the breakfast area should be larger, as it can get rather crowded. We were compelled in a rather brash manner by the personell to use the Self Check-In, which was quite the opposite of a warm welcome. Due to the size of the hotel and the thinly-spread personell, a bit of a Youth Hostel vibe dominates here in spite of the modern appointments.

  Liked: The room is pretty good, spacious and clean. Breakfast has slightly changing elements over the days. Staff are helpful and the self-service check-in & check-out also saves a lot of time.

  Disliked: The breakfast room is a bit small, especially given the crowd. Although the location is good, it is not very good connected, but it's not the fault of the hotel, it's due to the poor public transportation in Potsdam.
