Exceptional
We would not stay here again
Liked: The room was quiet, clean and roomy enough for 4 adult women.
Disliked: The information provided on the booking site led us to believe that there was an elevator servicing all floors. There is not. The elevator only goes from the lower building entrance to the first floor and is extremely tiny. Suitcases, etc., then had to be carried up to the 2nd and 3rd floors. The neighborhood appeared to be a nice neighborhood in the pictures. It is not. Restaurants in the area told us that we should not go out at night because it wasn't safe. It didn't feel safe. The booking site information stated there was a view of the Acropolis. There is not. The air conditioning was very difficult (to impossible) to use. The room was hot most of the time. It appeared that a shuttle service was provided from the airport. There is to a point. It is a private shuttle service that charges independently from the hotel. The shuttle service didn't overcharge, but you do have to contact them by yourself. They were prompt and efficient. There is a microwave available for the room. It is not in the room. You have to walk down the stairs toward the lower level and it is located on a metal shelf off to the side of the stairs in the stairwell. Small and awkward to reach. It felt like a bait and switch for the room. Pictures provided on the booking site appear pleasant, safe and nice. Reality is that it is not completely true.
Wonderful place in Athens
Liked: Everything except it would be even better if the pool was heated a bit
Disliked: The neighborhood is good during the day but a little less so at night.
It was perfect for a four-day visit
Liked: The place was great - clean and neat. Kitchen and facilities were excellent. We could even do some laundry. The blinds work wonderfully to keep noise and light out for a good night's sleep.
Disliked: Getting in was a problem. We were given instructions to open the box with a code - no key. We had to wait in the street for someone to open the door. They were very friendly, but we did not feel welcome. It really is not a 3-room place. Two rooms and a bed in the lounge with no privacy.
Liked: Very confortable bed, nice pressure shower, very spacious and clean, big balcony, we received very clear instructions. Overall was nice
Disliked: They need to put a door on the shower, the half glass isn't enough, the room get wet when we shower and for the fact that have no door you have zero privacy during your shower.
Great place for a transit stop
Liked: Clean, tidy & good value for short stay. The location is good, near a main road & walkable to restaurants & metro.
Disliked: At night, I found the back street a bit dark but we had no issues.
From airport to hotel within the hour
Liked: For us this was a great choice for our last night in Greece. We had dropped off our rental car at the airport and wanted to enjoy the night in Athens. The hotel provided the perfect solution, close to the red metro line (one switch from the blue airport line). Loved the pop culture nods and the beds were very comfortable.
Disliked: Do not expect a traditional hotel with a lobby and breakfast room. It’s self-check-in and there is no bar or restaurant. The elevator does not reach all floors.
