Exceptional
Trully amazing!
Liked: The best location in Plaka! The rooms are beautifully renovated, the bed is so comfortable, and the towels are incredibly soft. Mandy is lovely and so helpful—she really makes you feel welcome. Absolutely loved our stay!
Friendly hotel in the centre of Plaka great for walking and restaurants
Liked: The location for the hotel is great for exploring and the room was clean. The staff were friendly. The roof terrace has a good view.
Disliked: We stayed in the basement room which is located near the staff laundry and toilet so this was a little noisy with no chance of a lie in as staff greet each other for their morning chat outside the door. And the outside space was not really useable.
The best hotel in Plaka near Acropolis with sweetest staff
Liked: You truly cannot beat it. It is tucked right into the historic Plaka neighborhood, meaning you can step outside and walk to everything—the Acropolis south entrance, Syntagma Square, and Monastiraki are just minutes away. The staff went above and beyond to help us with transfers. The staff was also incredibly warm, attentive, and helpful with logistics.
This would be an excellent 3 star hotel, but not quite a 4 star
Liked: We could not have had kinder or more helpful reception thanks to Mandy. She was very welcoming and gave us great tips for our stay. The bed was comfy, AC worked great, and the view from the room was lovely. Also a really stunning view from the rooftop! Good amount of amenities (tea, coffee, shampoo, slippers, blow dryer, mini fridge).
Disliked: The room was quite small for the price, and there was sewage smell. It went away if you opened the balcony for a bit, but whenever we came back for the day it hit you with full force. I think the property falls a bit short of a 4 star hotel -- the bedding was old, there were no bathrobes, didn't smell too great, and the room was small.
Liked: Great location. Quiet and peaceful. Staff were very helpful with any questions I had.
Liked: Central location to shopping, great restaurants, walking distance to Parthenon. Beautiful area. Photo worthy.
