Exceptional
Lovely hotel but shame about the food and service
Liked: Brilliant location for all the sites in Athens. Unusual layout in the bedroom but works well. Very good and helpful hotel staff.
Disliked: Glass doors for the separate toilet in our bedroom. Fire escape hazard on stairs! Every day - we were there 4 nights- the tall laundry cubicles blocked the stairs on every level which would impede people’s descent if the building was on fire. The restaurant below where we had breakfast is fun and buzzy but the service is absolutely appalling. Every day we waited half an hour for the waiters to take our order and then another half an hour to deliver even an orange juice or a cup of coffee! The choice of breakfast on the menu was extensive but the cooked food was extremely heavy and oily and rich. There was no fresh fruit available at all, only as part of a pancake dish or granola.
Perfect stay. Will definitely be back
Very nice hotel except a couple of small things which are very easy to fix
Liked: Politeness and help of all staff Location
Disliked: the bathroom had a very minimalist shelving the water from shower tray was all over the floor
Stunning hotel and food!
