Liked: Central, clean
perfect hotel in Athens center
Great staff, great food, great location!
Liked: I was stuck in Athens due to the air traffic control issues in the UK, the staff allowed me to check in very early as soon as a room was available and looked after me whilst I worked in the reception area until that time, super organised and helpful, can't say enough really, apart from thank you to you all, made a stressful time very enjoyable... the food was amazing too!!
Disliked: nothing!
This will always be our home away from home when in Athens
Liked: The breakfast is amazing! Excellent choices and they accommodate your special needs. My family and I feel like we’re coming home when we stay at the Golden Age.
Nearly Great but falls short
Liked: The room is of very good size (it was a superior double) The bed was so comfortable with plenty of pillows The bathroom is clean, modern and inviting The staff at the front desk are very helpful and very nice Loved the balcony and view over the street but also with a small green park
Disliked: Very disappointing and weak WiFi, the signal drops all the time and can hardly open any Apps so had to use my own mobile data. I have never seen a TV remote that only allows two options for the volume (either zero as in no sound or level 15!) The Hotel really must consider changing this and using a normal remote control.... (such a shame that these two deficiencies stopped me from giving 5 stars) as I really loved the hotel otherwise...
