Exceptional
Regular 3 star hotel, nothing to impress
We were completely delighted with our selection of this hotel for our "bucket list" visit
Liked: We were very, very happy with our stay here. This is a tremendous value, with superb standards for quality in all areas: comfort, cleanliness, helpfulness, and a terrific breakfast. We really couldn't have been more pleased and are very appreciative of the reception and the breakfast staff. We highly recommend this hotel.
Disliked: We have no recommendations (which is unusual for us!)
Liked: The staff at reception were very attentive and accommodating to issues with my room. Thank you for making my stay a good one!
Comfortable stay in a great location with great breakfast
Liked: The location was excellent, walkable to all key sights in Athens as well as public transport. The room was a great size- I must have been upgraded to a disabled double room rather than the single that I had booked. The AC was also very welcome as it was pretty hot (high 20s) in October. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choices.
Nice city centre hotel close to bars and restaurants
Liked: Good location. Close to some great bars and restaurants. Easy walk to main attractions. We had the sixth floor suite with a large wrap-around terrace. It’s the only room on the floor and has a large outdoor sofa and a table and chairs to watch city life! There was also an adjacent terrace for guests with great views of the Acropolis. Overall a nice hotel.
Disliked: However, not a great breakfast. Lack of fresh fruit and cereals. And one morning we took the final table and were told to move because we were only two people and the table was for four. It could have easily been split into two tables for two. By the time we resolved it, someone else had taken the table!! It’s not a big enough space for the amount of guests. The room was advertised with a sauna and it was a great space. However it did not work!

Liked: Area: Excellent location. Conveniently near public transport. A lot of great bakeries, restaurants, cafes and shops in the area. Nearby supermarkets and pharmacies also useful. I love this neighbourhood. Room: The size of room, with balcony access was excellent for a 6-night stay. Good size luggage bench. Convenient to have a fridge and kettle in the room, and decent cupboard to hang clothes during a longer stay. Apart from bathroom, room seemed fairly newly renovated and clean. Nice to have the option of both firmer and softer pillows. Decent noise cancellation from windows and doors to balcony. Breakfast: Nice breakfast - a lot of variety, with both healthy and more indulgent options. Something for everyone. Staff were lovely.
Disliked: Road noise and pollution made meant the windows and door to balcony stayed mostly shut. Shower in my room could use a deep clean to bring it up to standard of rest of the room. Not a fan of shower curtains, sorry!
