Exceptional
Great option in the center of Athens
Liked: A good hotel, very well located in Athens, with easy walking access to both attractions and many restaurants; it is close to Psiri and Monastiraki, and right next to the excellent Kerameikos Museum. It is ideal for those who want to stay in central Athens and explore the historic district on foot. The room is not very large, but it is well laid out.
Disliked: It's a bit strange that the bathroom sink isn't in the bathroom, but rather inside a carpeted bedroom.
Other than location this place has nothing to offer
Liked: Location to shops and archeological sites
Disliked: No place to set your luggage down other than the floor. The bathroom was the worst set up I have seen. The toilet sink and shower are in one tiled room without dividers. Once you take a shower the bathroom floor is completely soaked. The automatic tap and hand dryer by the sink were functionally ridiculous as the dryer went on whenever you reached for the soap and the tap would only stay on for a second without your hand under it so rinsing a toothbrush was impossible without wetting you hands. The window by the bed couldn’t open because the headboard blocked it. The other window faced a shaft that served to carry noise from other floors. The minibar only had two bottles of water that were free only for the first night. The staff acted as if they didn’t care about anything you might have to say. The breakfast service - which you extra for - was very bland and once a particular food or drink item ran out it was not replaced. One day the coffee would be okay and the next day too strong to drink.
Liked: We liked the free breakfast. The space in our room enough to put all our big luggages for 4 people.
Disliked: We didn't liked the sink in our bathroom. Too tight, not enough space for our toiletries for 4 people who are sharing the room.
Liked: Lovely comfy room,only 20 - 25 minutes to the centre of Athens
Disliked: On Sunday there were no staff on duty to look after the buffet, the tables weren’t been cleared, coffee, food and crockery had run out and guests were having to go to reception to ask for help, the receptionist was on his own and rushed off his feet with new arrivals and departures, I asked for a clean cup and he brought me a cup from the kitchen that hadn’t been washed at that point I gave up. The other two mornings everything was ok but more focus on the buffet please.
Disliked: The aircon is not working properly so it was a bit hot in the room during the day and night.
