  Good value for $$ - would consider staying there again given the right price:)

  Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful - Thank You! Especially to the gentleman who checked me in / out at the front counter Breakfast was delicious and at the rooftop seatings - a nice spot to chill for a rainy afternoon

  Disliked: I arrived at the hotel by train on the first day in Athens - the uphill walk seemed to be a 20-minute drag instead of 8 minute 'gentle' walk as Google map suggested -_-

  Disliked: As someone who has experience working in hospitality, for place that advertises as 5 star hotel I’d expect way more attention to details. We’ve found empty spirit bottle and half-eaten bag of cookies in cabinets. There was only one normal fork (dirty) available, the other one was one-time use wooden fork. All the glasses were made out of plastic which is not bad in general but all of them had discolourations/stains inside which doesn’t look pleasant. Breakfast was ok, but during our first day - we arrived to half of the tables being covered with dirty dishes, no one from the start was around to clean it up for approx. 20-30min. Room itself wasn’t really soundproof as said in the description, we could’ve hear a lot of noises coming out of reception.

  Excellent value for money

  Liked: I have been staying at this hotel every time I visit Athens. It is easily reachable by metro direct line from the airport, also direct line to the center of Athens. The neighborhood is safe with restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The staff goes above and beyond, I would like to particularly thanks Michalis for making our stay perfect and arranging for us to stay at our favorite room. The breakfast is varied and caters for different tastes, they offer fresh fruit which I love to have in the morning.

  Another stay in newel

  Liked: The bed was comfortable, the room was large and quiet. The breakfast the next morning was delicious.

  Disliked: I wasn't able to use the jacuzzi and hot tub as the water didn't get warmer throughout my stay. A few amenities were missing and had to ask for them eg slippers.

  Liked: Ήταν οπως τις φωτογραφίες, ήταν καθαρό και άνετο και το τζακούζι ήταν όλα τα λεφτά. Επίσης το πρωινό ήταν πολύ καλο! Αξίζε η διαμονή!!!

  Disliked: Στο μπάνιο μάλλον δεν λειτουργούσε ο εξαερισμός ( και δεν υπάρχει παράθυρο), το κλιματιστικό δουλεύει μόνο με την θερμοκρασία δωματίου. Αρα πχ οταν πηγαινε 22 βαθμούς σταματούσε να δουλεύει αυτόματα. Δεν πήγαινε κατω απο 22.

  We would stay there again

  Liked: The room we stayed in was spotlessly clean and spacious. It had a small kitchenette, a fridge (with two complimentary small bottles of water) and a balcony. The breakfast was served on the fourth floor, a place with fantastic view. It had savory and sweet options (hard boiled eggs, omelette, quiche tart, pizza, cheese, ham, bread, butter, sliced tomatoes and cucumber, rucket salad, croissants, apple pie, jams, milk... and more!!!! and delicious coffe from a machine that had tons of options). Staff very friendly and polite! Late check in with automated mode, you do it online and voila you arrive whatever time you wish. Easy to park in the surrounding area. Bravo!
