Exceptional
Royal Sun exceeded my expectations. I would stay again. My go to in chania
Liked: The location was cool. A fab hill top view of the city and a free minibus ride into town each day and night. Just perfect. Loved the poolside loungers. It was a bit cold in the pool because it was nearly November. Restaurant was good and breakfast choice fair. I slept well. Shower always hot. Towels clean and plentiful. Cats by the pool were friendly. Laundry room was excellent. The team at royal sun are the best. Really friendly and professional.
Disliked: Occasionally, Parking could be tricky on some days and evenings. Some bit of furniture we're getting a little tired. Some bits around the wall paper and switches didn't quite fit perfectly. People in adjoining rooms and above could be heard speaking (but not clearly) when our room was quiet - although that didn't bother us really cause we were using headphones or watching tv and it wasn't an issue at these times.
Liked: Staff at rooftop amazingly nice and kind
Disliked: Shower size and bathroom
Liked: Amazing staff, great shuttle service to the city centre and back. Very good breakfast with amazing views. The pool area was spacious. The room had a nice balcony with perfect views.
Disliked: You can hear everything from the corridor in your room, so the sound isolation was not the best.
Liked: Wonderful view especially at the restaurant. Breakfast was awesome with lots of options to choose. Best breakfast amongst our stays in Greece by far.

Disliked: Shower sizes
OK, not the best nor the worst
Liked: The view was awesome and the breakfast great, plenty of options. Bed was good. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious at a fair price
Disliked: The shower is really small, maybe not even 1m2, so we had to keep the door open to shower. Also, the room was under the restaurant so we could hear the chairs being pulled and moved from 7am to 12pm non stop. There is a fee of 5 euros per night that was not mentioned upon arrival. The link on booking to the address took us to the other side of town

We provide a service between 7:30 am until 2:00 pm for the house keeping service (Changing of the towels, bedsheets, cleaning, etc. )
