Exceptional
Liked: Greta location
Disliked: The apartment lacked basic items such as toilet paper. The apartment was quite dirty, and basic appliances were missing or malfunctioning. The dryer only worked on cold air, the washing machine flooded the bathroom, and kitchen items such as spoons and bowls were missing. There was only one wine glass, which is pointless for such a large space.
Best host
Liked: Jimmy is a great 😊 and helpful host that I have met on. Once you give him a message, he will respond to you in a timely way The facility is very close to the town centre where you can see and enjoy ☺️
Theuns & Jackie
Liked: Central location! Clean and very neat Flat has all amenities Best coffee shop just downstairs...Snack Bar Cafe.. beers are also cold! We were surprised to find kitchen stocked with all sorts of snacks, juices, wine, etc.We.really did not expect that. The host Jimmy where very friendly and helpfull. He also has 2 of the best restuarants in Corfu close by. Home away from home! THANKS Jimmy and see you and your family in Cape Town!!
Disliked: N/A
Hospitality is through the roof, also great location
Liked: Great location, walking distance to Old Town. Owner is very helpful, anything we needed. To our surprise fridge was stocked on arrival. Apartment is equipped with everything you might need.
Disliked: The three AC unit was struggling to keep the temperature but it was OK, way cooler than outside.
Terrible! Only stayed for 1 night out of the 7 nights we had booked
Liked: All self contained. In lovely Garista Bay Area
Disliked: It was a Dirty, Filthy place. Thick layers of dust stuck to the window in the bathroom & on top of the picture Frame. Obviously not been cleaned. Dark yellow urine stain all around the toilet. Thick black MOULD on the skirting boards. OBVIOUSLY NOT BEEN CLEANED. Even in the shower, black mould. Dirty kitchen sink. Stunk of stale cigarette smoke. Poor lighting; hall one supplied the living area. Did not represent the photos. Altered since then. Dark, smelly, dirty apartment Owner dishonest. Hard to get open honest discussion with him. He, nor a representative, met us. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS APARTMENT
Fantastic location, great price
Liked: Jimmy the host was delightful, kind and a great communicator. He was very helpful when we had to delay our leaving time at short notice. The apartment was within a very easy walking distance of the Old Town and scores of great restaurants. It was also very quiet. It was great to be able to eat out on the balcony. The Snack Cafe Bar on the doorstep of the accommodation had friendly staff and served fantastic coffee. The airport is only a few minutes away
Disliked: Compared to other apartments we considered Alsos Family Apartment was excellent value and this must be borne in mind when commenting on the accommodation. There wasn't anything we really didn't like, but we would make the following comments:- There was plenty of space for our party of 4 people, but we found the decor lacked warmth. The third bedroom had no natural light and the only window opened onto a corridor so needed to be closed to hide the sound of people walking past the apartment. One of the lamps had no bulb and one of the other bedrooms could have done with a second bedside lamp. The shower drainage was very slow. In one of the bedrooms it was not possible to get to the shutters to fully close/open them due to the fixed mosquito net
