Good
Completely fine for a night or two
Liked: We stayed here for one night. Location was great, walking distance from the airport and city center, which is a bit further.
Disliked: Not the most hygienic, shower was a bit dirty and there was a cockroach in the kitchen.
Liked: Nice room, walking distance to the airport. Contact to the owner was easy and he was very friendly.
Disliked: It wasn't very clean. For showering we need to open the drain (which isn't a problem), but it was full of hair. The pan for cooking was full of scratches and old. The sponge for dishwashing was also not new, so we had to wash with the hands. The mattresses were super hard.
Not recommended
Liked: Unfortunately very disappointed
Disliked: Very disappointing stay. The property was extremely dirty, with dust, hair, spider webs, and dirty kitchen cabinets. There were ants everywhere, including inside the cupboards. We left our food on the table for just five minutes while we took a shower, and when we came back it was covered in ants, so we had to throw it away. There were also broken electrical sockets, the internet didn't work, and the bathroom smelled strongly of mould and sewage, making it unpleasant to use. This property did not meet basic standards of cleanliness or maintenance. We have photos and videos of everything and would not recommend staying here.
Lovely stay
Liked: Nice stay at this cosy place, just 3min walk from the harbour and windmill and 17min walk from the airport. Also the city center is in 15min and the old town 20min by walk. The place is in the very quite area, and easy to find it, the owner gives you exactly with video footage the way. A nice seating area with tv with Netflix and YouTube, full equipment kitchen with a lot ingredients for cooking and nice big bathroom. Upstairs 2 beds and office to read. The place is amazing and you feel the greek hospitality. Last but not least, Mr Tasos is a very friendly, helpful and polite person and ready to make your stay comfortable.
An option to consider when in Corfu town
Liked: Pretty cute loft in a central location in Corfu Town (even though it took us quite a while to find it the first time), close to both the airport and the city centre (about 20 minutes walk in each direction), air conditioning, kitchen with everything you might need & even more. In general, good value for money. And yeah, last but not least - very friendly and helpful owner.
Disliked: Be ready for a bouquet of smells - musty, sewage etc. There are air fresheners here and there but unfortunately they don't really help, and neither does dehumidifier with humidity. Also, rather weird choice of colour for a shower cabin - it kinda looks like...dirty and you don't really feel comfortable stepping in there. Pretty steep steps - beds are on the second floor while for example the toilet is on the ground floor - so some handrails would be a really nice thing to consider installing. Finally, the cleaning could have been more thorough (dirty floor upon arrival, oily stovetop, spider nets almost in every corner etc.), especially considering the cleaning fee given by the booking.com in the payment summary was quite... significant.
Fabulous good value
Liked: The location was good the stay was a lovely self contained quirky little place with lovely toiletries and kitchen.
Disliked: The drains very smelly inside and outside, couldn’t sit outside there was no way of telling if it was going to be super smelly ie after rain its no one’s fault and probably why such a cute little place is cheap. The beds were a little too firm/hard.
