  A luxurious stay in a beautiful apartment in the centre of a fascinating city

  Liked: The location was perfect, right in the middle of the city, near restaurants, easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. We loved the balcony, the well equipped kitchen and hot and powerful shower. The host was brilliant, he was extremely kind, supplying information before we arrived and help once we did. He replied to all my queries in perfect English which made all communication very easy.

  Disliked: One small fault was the sofa bed. It opened out to a big double bed, but was hard. The double bed in the main bedroom was superb, but my son was less comfortable on the sofa bed. I know it is a matter of preference and some would be happy with a hard bed, but perhaps supplying a mattress topper (eg IKEA) which could be put on top of the sofa bed, would provide comfort for everyone.

  Very comfortable apartment in a central location within Heraklion. Everything was very walkable

  Liked: The location was easy to find and getting the key out of the lock box was straight forward. The only challenge was lighting to easily see the code being entered.

  Disliked: The entrance to the building was through a relatively long and dimly lit corridor. That is a feature of the building design and not a problem once you are used to it.

  Beautiful little appartment in the heart of Heraklion

  Liked: - Convenience - Decoration - Practicality - Cleanliness - Amenities - Proximity to city centre, restaurants, bars, high street shops - Seamless and easy access to the apartment - The host has thought of absolutely everything you might need during your stay!

  Disliked: Only minor dissadvantages, nothing very serious - Although it is in the city centre, it is a minor logistics inconvenience if you have many pieces of luggage, since car access is forbidden in a stretch of 300m of the street where the property is located. The closest you can park is a 5' walk. Even if you get a taxi, you still have around 200m to walk with luggage. If you only have a carry-on luggage, this is negligible. - This is unfortunate and not really related with the property itself, but on a Sunday morning at 09:30, the owner of the apartment one floor below decided it was a good idea to demolish the internal brick walls with sledgehammers. Not a very pleasant way to wake up.

  Could not have asked for a better apartment during our stay! 10/10

  Liked: The attention to details! There was a coffee machine with a lot of coffee capsules, tea bags, laundry detergent capsules, a drying rack, great wifi, TV with Netflix, list of taxies and phone numbers and much much more!

  We enjoyed our 2 night stay very much and will definitely be back

  Liked: A beautiful new apartment in a great location with a lovely balcony. The bed was very comfortable. There was a bottle of wine as a welcome present and check-in/out was very easy.
