  Very enjoyable stay

  Liked: We had the top floor unit with a large rooftop terrace. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The compact washer and outside clothesline were helpful for us. The location was an easy 10 minute walk from the ferry. It is not in the heart of town but is a 5 minute walk to street food places (including McDonalds) and a large grocery store. It is a 10 minute walk to the Archeological Museum and the beginning of the tourist section of Heraklion with restaurants and shopping. It is easy to make bus connections to Knossos and the Airport.

  Disliked: The washer is in the bathroom which made things a bit tight but manageable. There was only one detergent pod for the washing machine, insufficient clothespins for the clothesline and not enough toilet paper, all of which we bought for ourselves. Otherwise it was a very nice stay.

  Ideal location close to the port

  Liked: Great location about 10 minutes walk to the port and 20 minutes to town. Beautiful apartment and very clean. Nicely renovated and decorated. Excellent communication from the host. Easy check in and out. Street parking available.

  Disliked: The sheets were too small for the bed. The bottom sheet only covered the top of the mattress and not the sides, and the top sheet was not enough to cover 2 people. Regular size forks needed in the kitchen.

  Excellent for short stay

  Liked: Lovely clean modern room, well appointed and great value. We ere only there for 12 hours as tranitting through. was E18 for taxi from the airport and a 10minute walk to the port.

  Disliked: Bathroom fan was very noisy!

  Great place to stay if you’re taking a ferry. Very close to the port

  Liked: Comfortable, roomy apartment. Very clean. Instructions to retrieve key were excellent.

  Disliked: Very steep hill to access the property. Hallways to access apartments are often dark and the light motion sensors didn’t always work as they should have. This could be a safety concern if someone tailgates you inside the building.
