  Liked: Nice 1bedroom apartment, bed was comfy. Full equipped kitchen, could stay here for more than a few nights. Mostly clean upon arrival. Easy check in instructions similar to an Airbnb.

  Disliked: Had hair in the shower when we arrived. Airbnb style check in, not really a hotel/B&B. Balcony wasn't worth it, 1st floor Balcony was much nicer.

  Plane Spotting

  Liked: clean & spacious room and friendly staff, very helpful with any request.

  Disliked: Narrow staircase not ideal if you have large heavy suitcases, very noisy, directly in line with heraklion airport.

  Unique

  Liked: The design, the cleanliness, the confort, I recommend it. The morning view is unique.

  Disliked: The fridge makes a weird noise sometimes, but it is ok overall, and of course airplanes are flying constantly over the house, but for 1 night, if you are tired, you will not notice any noise.

  Convenient location for going to the airport

  Liked: The apartment was clean, modern and comfortable. The location was very convenient for us because we had a flight at 7AM and had to return our rental car the day before our flight. We walked for 20-30 mins after dropping off our luggage in the appartment, driving to the airport (a 5-10 mins drive), and returning the rental car. There is a beautiful church right next to the apartment with a few shops and restaurants!

  Disliked: Being right next to the airport has the downside of noise whenever planes take off, and they take off right above the apartment (which is right under the roof on the last floor). It's interesting to watch the planes take off from the balcony, but scary in the middle of the night when you are trying to sleep. It seems the Heraklio airport does not stop planes from flying at night, so there were flights at 1AM and 4AM. We knew we would not sleep much, but carrying our luggage in the stairs (no elevator) twice in the span of 10 hours after a short night of sleep was not ideal.
