  Amazing stay in Heraklion in a great apartment

  It was a good stay

  Liked: It was great - large spacious for four adults.

  Disliked: The toilet paper, coffee etc was all provided for 1 person whereas we were travelling as four individuals. Also the building is not easy to find. The numbers are all over the place and it’s not on the Pasafuas street.

  Wonderful stay in central Heraklion. Recommended!

  Liked: Surprisingly modern and clean given mixed condition of neighbourhood. Comfortable. Central. Quiet A/C. Nice private patio with excellent view. And in-house clothes washer convenient for travellers!

  Disliked: Elevator and door locks a bit tricky, but manageable.

  Great flat

  Liked: Spent 3 weeks here, the flat is great. 3rd floor with a lift. Beds are SUPER comfortable. Couch is also very comfortable. Quiet at night, can't hear planes (if you were worried about the nearby airport). Host was great and responsive: fixed an issue with hoter water few hours after reporting it! We also asked for more kitchen utensils, and they brought it very quickly, so now the kitchen is fully equipped (spatulas, peeler, spoons, tin opener, bottle opener, etc). Internet is 50Mbps download and 5Mbps upload. Hot water takes a long time to come out (like 5 min), so be patient the first time you turn it on. Huge balcony, WiFi reaches everywhere. Use the remote to open the blinds in the balcony to get a lot of light throughout the day. Great location, can easily walk around the city, go buy groceries (you'll have to buy bottled water). Close enough to a gym too (Divine gym, would recommend that too).

  Liked: The property was very well appointed with modern finishes and amenities. Air con provided throughout with spacious lounge and bedrooms. Kitchen facilities were adequate. The balcony/terrace was a bonus space and pleasant view to the harbour. Communications with the property agents was easy and efficient, with timely responses.

  Disliked: There was little fault with the apartment. However worthy of mention as part of our experiences is Parking was a challenge sometimes given limited to no on street parking (which was residents only) so you had little choice other than to use the central parking. Albeit a short walk to the apartment this cost a minimum €18 per night/day depending on when you parked. Secondly communal bins were not exactly close by…, you had a short walk down the street to the one way street leading to the apartment by car. Not major but not exactly something to do in your vacation.
