  Great, modern, very clean and well-equipped apartment

  Liked: The apartment is very nicely appointed and modern. It looks very new. It has a full kitchen, which seems rare in Greece, as most of the other rentals we had did not even have a microwave. The double bed is very comfortable. The sofa extends to a double bed and my younger daugher used it, but it has a thin mattress, so that might not work well for heavier folks. The kitchen is awesome and fully appointment. The host even left water and other things in the stove for us to use. They also have spices and oils available, which is great, so you don't have to buy your own for a short stay. The aparment has two TVs and it has AC, which is very needed in the summer in Greece. It is a very nice, new, clean, well-equipped apartment. I can imagine that folks with a rental car would find it a great value to explore Heraklion and other parts of the island. The location of the apartment is ok. It is close to the port, which is why we booked it, because we left on a ferry. We only stayed one night to make it in time for our ferry, and for that it was a good location, though we still booked a taxi to get there, since we had a lot of luggage. But it would be within walking distance with small roller luggage or backpacks. The location is also not too far from the airport. About 7-10 min drive. I brough back our rental car one day and caught a taxi back from the airport to the apartment that was reasonable priced. Note: Taxis in Greece are expensive and ride share apps do not work, so be prepared to pay a lot for taxis. About $17 from the airport to the apartment, as well as from the apartment to the port, even though both were under 10 min drives.

  Very good instructions to enter the suite, parking on the street, very nice place to stay (modern and very clean). Thank

  Liked: Very modern, new, stylish decor, very clean, really comfortable bed. Close to the airport. Nice residential neighbourhood.

  Disliked: Would have been nice to have had a light blanket (and not just a sheet) for the bed. Just to be aware that the location is below the flight path of the planes taking off, so can be a little noisy, but there appeared to be a plane curfew from around 23:00 to 6:00 am.

  Comfortable and clean

  Liked: Very clean and modern. Great facilities like washing machine

  Disliked: Slightly noisy with airplanes flying over but not too bad for sleeping. Slightly out the way of main area of Heraklion

  Great little hide away

  Liked: Lovely suite, really good comfortable facilities.

  Disliked: Quite hard to find as Google maps sends you down a really difficult to navigate street with luggage. We discovered on day two however it's easier to walk into town via the main road by the ferry port. Also good bus connections
