Unbeatable location, but the studio falls short on almost everything else

Liked: The location is the one real strength. The building is right next to the Lions (Morosini) Fountain, the heart of Heraklion, so everything in the city is within easy walking distance. Street noise is also well blocked from outside.

Disliked: We stayed 4 nights in Studio C1 as a couple, and it didn't work for two people. Space: The studio is very small, with almost no storage. We couldn't unpack. It might suit one person for a weekend. Kitchen: It looks equipped, with plenty of pans, but there's no microwave, no storage, and no basics like oil or spices, so it's not really usable. Supplies: Very minimal. We got 4 coffee capsules, a kettle with no tea, and two 50 ml bottles of shower gel for two people over 4 nights. There was 1 rubbish bag plus 3 small bathroom bags, which isn't enough when guests are told not to put paper in the toilet. Balcony: The photos suggest a large private balcony with sea view, but it's shared with the neighbouring room and there's no separation. On our second night someone was watching us through our window from the balcony. After that we kept the blinds closed and never used it again. We felt unsafe for the rest of the stay. Hot water: The heater seems to be shared with a contiguous unit. We often had to go to the hallway to switch it on and then wait a long time. Most of our showers ended up cold, and the water pressure was low. Service: Linen changes and repairs are requested through a form, and both took around 48 hours. Our broken iron was replaced almost two days later. The linen change didn't include fresh pillowcases or a blanket. Noise inside: The studios seem to be one former apartment divided with thin walls. We could clearly hear a neighbour coughing constantly, and every guest coming and going. It's a good base for exploring the city, but for comfort, privacy and value I'd look elsewhere.

Liked: This is for the A1 apartment. Spatious living room, great location in the historical city center, big balcony, great acoustic insulation via triple pane windows.

Liked: Great stay and fantastic location! The apartment was comfortable, had all the amenities we needed, and having a little balcony was a lovely bonus. It was also really convenient for exploring local food places. with plenty of things within easy reach supermarket. Would definitely recommend!

Disliked: If we could've we would have way more pillows. Maybe a more classic bottle opener, everything else was great!
