Guest reviews
Very good
Have been to the Blue Sky before but wanted to return to experience. Sea view room. The view was good for the sunset bu
Liked: The location.
Disliked: Lack of storage space in the room. No drawer space and a small hanging space. The pool area. The sun beds need upgrading as look well used and a bit grubby.
Close to perfection
Liked: Clean, relaxing and chill. Food was great
Disliked: The sheets on the bed would curl up into a ball while you are sleeping. Also the mattress is balling up with small balls of fabric. Needs to work out a way to get more sun loungers in the sun as they are impossible to get after 9am
Hygiene needs to be fixed, otherwise a fine stay
Liked: We were not bothered by noise as other reviews describe. The staff at the reception are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice with a lot of choice.
Disliked: Upon arrival, our room was not yet ready, even though it was already past the indicated check-in time. When we entered the room, we were shocked by the hygiene. The mugs and glasses were dirty. There were lip prints on them and even a hair in the mug (took photo’s). All four towels were also dirty with grey and orange stains. Even the bedding at the foot of the bed was stained yellow (didn’t take picture). We went straight downstairs to the reception, and she immediately saw what the problem was. She was very helpful and immediately called housekeeping to our room. Although we were helped immediately, the lack of hygiene was also noticeable at breakfast. Almost all the glasses had stains.
Liked: Great sea view with balcony a bonus. Close to the beach. Breakfast included. Good value, nice pool area.
Disliked: Pool area very busy and difficult to find a lounge. Bed could have been comfier- quite hard.
Liked: We booked a seaview room and it was the best decision ever! That sea colour seen from above is worth every penny, the sunset is spectacular too! The staff was super friendly, chatty, got tips and advice too and they were great hosts. The food at breakfast is super varied, you got so many options, healthy too, freshly cooked (eggs, omelettes, pancakes), plus all the other warm food buffet options, and delicious too, but I didn't get even close to trying everything, that's how many there are. The room was quite spacious too, and the facilities great. Location is great too, there's a direct public bus to the airport, short walk to the old town, beaches, restaurants, anything you need. We really enjoyed our stay!
Liked: We liked the location on the cool side of Rhodes, Breakfast was excellent.
