Excellent week in rather grand surrounding, almost on the beach

Liked: Great location with breakfast on a terrace leading down to the sea. Short walk along waterfront to harbour and Old Town. We stayed for a week in a large comfortable room with a sea view and good air conditioning. Staff very friendly and helpful with excellent English. Hotel is in the Casino building and ask taxi drivers for this! Some excellent restaurants/bars very close. No need to go into town centre.

Disliked: Rather dead reception area. We were there in mid October and the bar wasn’t open. Not the property’s fault but the beach is pebbles. Sea is beautifully clear though with sunbeds/sunshades aplenty.

Don’t book here if you like a relaxing stay

Liked: Good Location, although a little far from the city center,The beech right in front of the hotel is very nice, you need to give your room’s card to the front desk to get 2 towels to use at the beech and you have to pay for sunbed with a discount, but it’s worth it.

Disliked: First room we got smelled very bad and was humid, when we entered the AC didn’t work, the staff told us it would work gradually and the room would be fine, but it didn’t. We asked the front desk to change it but the older lady there was very rude and refused with a bad attitude, we spent 2 night, after that we contacted Booking.com and they helped us to change to a better room. The breakfast staff were very nice but the breakfast itself was very poor. The hotel has a bad smell and needs a lot of renovation. I don’t recommend this hotel at all
