Great place to see Rhodes
Liked: Excellent location, friendly and helpful hosts, great view of Rhodes from the rooftop restaurant.
Disliked: The bed was firm—too firm for us. Sleeping was uncomfortable.

Liked: The staff were tremendously kind and accommodating, and for the price, Minos Pension is very hard to beat. The rooftop patio is something special, but what I’ll remember most is the people. I arrived in Rhodes by bus and then made the questionable decision to roll my oversized suitcase through the cobblestone streets of the Old Town. By the time I finally reached the pension, I was looking a little worse for wear. The woman at the desk took one look at me and asked why I hadn’t contacted her for a ride! That kindness continued when I left. They arranged a ride toward the ferry so I wouldn’t have to drag the suitcase back through the Old Town again. It was completely unnecessary and incredibly appreciated. The room itself was simple, the shower was warm, the bed was comfortable enough, and everything did exactly what I needed it to do. At this price point, I really can’t complain. Lovely people, wonderful hospitality, and a rooftop patio that makes the place feel particularly special. I wish them all the best.
Disliked: This is a very minor criticism. Guests are understandably asked not to put their suitcases on the bed, but there wasn’t really anywhere else to put my oversized suitcase except on the floor. A simple luggage rack or raised surface would have made unpacking and doing my morning repack much easier than kneeling on the floor. Beyond that, especially considering the price, I really don’t have much to complain about.
A good place to stay in the Old Town - quiet and
Liked: Lovely location and we enjoyed the roof terrace bar. The beds were comfy. It was peaceful in spite of being close to the town centre - we slept well.
Disliked: Hard to find the entrance if coming from the Old Town centre - no sign on the door directing you to the actual entrance up the slope. Also whilst she was friendly and tried to help, the member of staff did not speak much English. Previous reviews about the great welcome and lovely hosts was not our experience on this occasion. The rooms are a good size but the decor is a little outdated - particularly the kitchen and bathroom (although they were very clean).
