Disliked: You have to pay for air conditioning. Otherwise they disable it. You literally have a tap instead of a shower. It was unbearably hot. The staff was barely even there

Substandard service with misleading representation of amenities

Disliked: Our stay was disappointing. On arrival we found only a single bar of soap — no shower gel, no shampoo, and no dish soap or sponge in the kitchen. We used our own toiletries and had to buy dish soap and a sponge ourselves just to wash dishes the next evening. Hygiene was minimal. After requesting cleaning the next morning, snack crumbs remained under a nightstand for the rest of the stay, and after that one cleaning, the trash was never taken out again. More seriously, the apartment had no wifi at all, despite the room being advertised as having it and the hotel's general marketing claiming internet access throughout the property. When I raised this, the manager suggested we use the outdoor tables instead. I explained I had no intention of paying for a room and using an advertised service outside of it, and since we hadn't been informed the ground-floor apartment lacked wifi - quite the opposite - I expected a price adjustment. This is when things escalated. The manager suggested we leave, offering to waive the first night's charge. I told him I had no intention of leaving to look for another apartment on the day of check-in rather than in advance. He then told his staff to call Booking and report that we wanted to leave. I repeatedly clarified that I did not want to leave, that he was misrepresenting what I'd said, and that he could not remove a family with two children against their wishes - I simply expected the service we'd paid for, or a price reduction. After several more attempts to claim we wanted to leave, I ended the conversation with: "We are staying." On the final day, instead of cleaning, trash removal, or an apology, we received a message asking for a 10/10 rating "for a small family business." I would gladly have given one had we received accurate information and the service we paid for - which, as a consumer, I'm entitled to expect under EU consumer protection law.

Liked: Very lovely surroundings around the pool and accommodation in general looked after by the owner himself who was such a nice man very helpful his wife also met us at a very late check in due to a delayed flight.the accommodation had everything I needed and was very well sized with a big balcony overlooking the pool and gardens
