Peaceful and tucked away from the crowds

Liked: Nestling in the far corner of the old town away from the port, the cruse ships and the palace. The St. Nikolis hotel is a peaceful escape from the crowds. Individual and interesting rooms in a collection of old buildings surrounding an inner courtyard that is used to serve breakfast when the weather is fine. Breakfasts are ordered from a menu and freshly cooked. Special mention to the pancakes either with walnuts and honey or egg and bacon. Also, the yogurt honey and granola. The roof top terrasse is great for chilling out after a morning pounding the streets, you can wave to the people walking round the walls, or go up after the walls close if you want to be more private.

Disliked: The WIFI was OK for browsing and emails but would not upload photos to the cloud. Also. some devices connected easily while others would not connect at all and had to be routed through a hotspot.

Warm hosts, perfect location, historic building and rooms

Liked: Warmth of the hosts, the building and the rooms are quirky and historic, great location for touring the old town but based in a quiet street, delicious breakfast made to order, good service - nothing was too much trouble. Nice touches in the room and accommodating to hold our luggage to suit a late flight.

    Disliked: N/A
