Exceptional
Location is perfect. Simple and comfortable stay
Liked: Very cute, original stone house situated in a perfect location. Walking distance to a central village and a short drive to Appolina (or walk). Room was cleaned everyday which was a lovely touch.
Disliked: Hosts were very lovely and accomodating and we were out most of the time but I do want to note for future guests that there was a lot of drain flies in the bathroom. It’s not unusual given plumbing and humidity issues. Also, the bed was two singles pushed together with foam in the middle. My partner is 6’2’ and he didn’t fit the bed unfortunately and hit the timber end.
Liked: We loved our stay at To Kate. The location is great, a very short walk to Artemonas shops but it’s one turn off the main road (not in the little pedestrian alleys) so it’s easy to access with a car or from the bus stop. The view from the outside area for our room was beautiful and the air con and fan was very welcome in the heat! The chickpea stew on Sunday was one of the most delicious things we ate of many wonderful meals in Sifnos.

Unresponsive host with over over priced compared to its value
Liked: It was okay overall
Disliked: Host was very unresponsive. I asked airport pick up and he Returned the day i check in - it was already planned. Also for check in i had to wait 30 minutes in front of the place. It was change of check in time but he said it works that someone host me in 30 minutes but i took 60. Lastly I wrote him we are checking out he even didn’t responded. I really don’t expect much or a demanding person, but these should be the basics, bad communication overall
To Kate was the perfect accommodation for us, in the beautiful town of Artemonas

Liked: Beautiful location with stunning views across the rural hinterland towards the sea. 5mins walk from the lovely village of Artemonous,and excellent transport links to the rest of the island. Very friendly and helpful owners
