The best place to stay in Sifnos
Liked: Everything about Voya is wonderful: the location, the rooms, and the facility are all incredible. But what stands out the most is the staff, particularly George, the hotel manager. From even before I arrived, George went above and beyond to guarantee that I had the best trip imaginable, especially as I was traveling alone and had no car, which would’ve made my visit to Sifnos much more challenging if not for him. From the best recommendations to helping me arrange transportation to anything I needed help with in between, he truly made my stay. This level of hospitality is hard to come by these days, and I’ll never forget the immaculate service I received at Voya thanks to him and his wonderful staff!
Disliked: While Kamares is accessible by foot from the hotel, other parts of the island require a car to get to — don’t be like me, and make sure you book your rental car ahead of time 😅

Liked: Great staff. Welcoming and helpful, but not intruding. A lot of helpful tips on where to go, eat, etc Very good breakfast. Great view and room. Luxurious but not ostentatious.

Liked: Great staff. George and Anna Maria were fantastic hosts. Very helpful and friendly, made us feel welcome and relaxed immediately. Great recommendations too for exploring the island. The cocktails by George were excellent. The location is very close to the port (Kamares) so this is very convenient for checking in and out. It was only a 20 minute walk from the ferry. The view from the rooms is exceptional and perfect for sunset. The pool is very relaxing and comfortable to hang out in. Service in general was 10/10.
Disliked: The nightly rates for this hotel are not good value for money. The breakfast was fine but very average. For the price you pay, I would have expected a much more impressive breakfast with large fresh fruit platters, more greek cheeses and more savoury options. The honey served at breakfast was not very good quality despite there being very good honey in the region. The kitchen is quite small in the hotel so they are a bit limited with serving food. Regarding the room, although it seems spacious, there was very limited storage space and in particular no where to store suitcases which means that the space is not efficiently used. I would highly recommend considering how guests can store their suitcases for convenience and also add a ramp to help carry the suitcases up to the rooms instead of the stairs!
