Exceptional
An excellent home and garden for a holiday and family gathering
Liked: Large and very spacious. Well equipped kitchen. A very comfortable home. Excellent advice and support from owner.
Disliked: All was to like.
Excellent base for exploring Connemara
Liked: Brilliant little house on the outskirts of Clifden, only a 5 minute drive into town. Lots of space and 4 bedrooms, big kitchen/diner, separate utility room with washer and dryer, and large living room with some books, board games and children's toys. Very friendly owner who was kind enough to get in touch with us prior to our stay to ask if we needed any suggestions for places to visit or local information and was more than helpful when we realised we'd left our son's teddy bear behind. Nice quiet location was perfect, very peaceful.
Disliked: There was a bees nest under the eaves at one of the windows upstairs, the bees didn't really bother us and the nest was high enough off the ground that they were well out of the way but knowing about this in advance would have been nice as a few of the guests are the type to run when they hear buzzing sounds.
A great house in a lovely part of Ireland with a wonderful host
Liked: Very responsive and helpful host. House has very good facilities/well provided for.
Charming cottage, situated close to many attractions in Cannamara
Liked: The property was perfect. It slept 7 of us with plenty of space for more. It was very kid/family friendly. A well stocked kitchen, games and interesting books for all ages made it easy to relax and enjoy the home. The swing set in back and the tide pools down the road were a favorite for my children. Would definitely stay again.
Very good
Liked: House had good facilities
Disliked: House was situated down a country lane, long way from nearest town
Overall a happy and pleasant stay. I will highly recommend
Liked: The house was very clean and well maintained. Very comfy beds. Ample space. Children play area. Plenty of books and games for kids to keep engaged. Nice Kitchen and dinining space with sufficient utensils to cook and serve food for 9 of us. TV with Netflix and descent broadband speed. Very good heating system. Dierdre has kindly helped with a lot of suggestions to visit near the area and they were very helpful. The property management agent had kindly helped with all the query clarification promptly. We celebrated our daughter's birthday their and we are happy that all had turned out well and it will be a member day for her.
Disliked: The only minus we think is that only 3 people can take shower consequently at any particular time and we need to wait for 2 hours for the water to be pumped from the local lake behind the house to fill the tank (it seems like all the houses in that area has same issue) and we came to know about this just near the check-in date. Nevertheless we were able to properly plan our showers with the clear instructions they have given near the check-in. It would have been great if it is given in the property details during booking stage itself to avoid the last minute surprise. But, it is not a big deal.
