Lovely holiday home to expore Connemara from
Liked: Lovely holiday home, beautifully renovated by the owner who was very friendly and helpful. Generously sized living spaces, well-equipped kitchen and cozy living room. There were 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor, and 1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom and 1 bathroom on the upstairs floor. Beds were comfortable. Great location to explore Connemara from.
The owner does not disclose the DANGEROUS health problem with the water. Stay at your own risk
Disliked: The owner did not state in the booking.com advert that the water is not potable nor were there any warning messages posted in the house. Unknowingly I took a drink before my wife warned me and I ended up with bad diarrhea that made me sick for 5 days plus. Instead of making an apology the owner took a defensive attitude stating excuses with no concern that she ruined my vacation in Ireland. She made no reasonable compensation for the damage caused, kept my money, and insulted me with a miniscule offer.
