Exceptional
Liked: Spacious. The owner tried hard to please
Disliked: All the beds in Ireland are too small.
A beautiful and peaceful cottage in Clifden
Liked: We absolutely loved the location, surrounded by the beautiful garden created and cared for by Rita and Michael. It was wonderful to see how much love and attention goes into the garden, especially with all the birds around — perfect for a bit of birdwatching! The cottage itself was incredibly cosy, comfortable and welcoming. Being in Clifden was also perfect for exploring Connemara, with places such as Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park and many other beautiful sights within easy reach.
Spacious and comfy cottage even for longer stays
Liked: The location is quiet and it’s just a short walk to Clifden town centre and to the bay. It has everything you need. Big outside area. The hosts are super friendly. Very clean and cute details in the rooms. Very spacious indeed. We definitely recommend this cottage. Thank you.
Disliked: Nothing to complain about
Relaxing
Liked: Excellent location. 10 minute walk from Clifden. Beautiful beaches within 15 min drive. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Lovely garden to sit out in the evening. Would definitely stay at Potters Cottage again.
Great cottage would definitely recommend
Liked: Overall space and the kitchen was well equipped. Rita very friendly and responsive.
Disliked: Didn't fancy the walk into town.
The perfect base to relax and enjoy the beauty of Connemara
Liked: The cottage was very clean, cosy and well equipped. The owners, Rita and Michael were very warm and welcoming. We paid a little more than we usually do for the two of us but Rita left us a lovely welcome hamper and a lot of thought had gone into making our stay special.
