  Enjoyable, quiet and lovely views

  Liked: Location was fanastic and ensuite bathroom for every bedroom. The deco was also very styleish and a good quality build.

  Disliked: The sofa needs replacing - as it dips in the middle. For a 3 bedroom house - for 6 people the living space is rather small / crammed and we were only 4 people due to the weather we could not sit outside.

  All and all this is a spectacular location and we would stay here again with our family. Felt like our own private water

  Liked: Beautiful location and views. Very quiet. Inside was very spacious and great for 5 adults.

  Disliked: My own complaint, which is not the owner’s fault is that there are quite a few flies around. If you open the windows to get ventilation for the ocean air and cool things down, you get a lot of flies in the house.

  Fantastic stay!

  Liked: We had a fantastic stay at The Boat House near Donegal. The property is beautifully presented to a high standard, with quality fittings and furnishings that made it feel both luxurious and comfortable. The accommodation was perfect for our group, with three spacious double bedrooms, all with large en-suite bathrooms, plus an additional toilet. The property felt light, airy and welcoming, with lovely indoor and outdoor seating areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, including a coffee machine, and had everything we needed. The location is very convenient, with a well-stocked Spar shop and petrol station a two-minute drive away. One highlight was the magnificent estuary view. The scenery is stunning, and the bird life made sitting outside especially enjoyable. Overall, this is a superb property in a beautiful setting, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay near Donegal.
