Alder Cabin
Liked: Donna was an excellent host and provided complimentary bread, milk, butter, etc.
Disliked: Nothing to complain about.
A great place to relax after a day of sightseeing
Liked: Tucked in a lush quiet corner across from the river. Surrounded by birdsong and spring flowers. Spacious, working wood fireplace, comfortable living area and large bathroom. Well supplied kitchen. Within walking distance of downtown Kilkenny (35 mins).
Perfect place to stay outside Kilkenny
Liked: Peaceful, fully equipped, good size, gorgeous nature surroundings, wonderfully welcoming host, Donna. Very comfy bed. Safe for solo female traveller. Great parking. Very generous food provided on arrival.

Liked: Donna was a lovely host. The cabin was so cosy, comfortable and quiet. It was such a beautiful cabin and the perfect place to relax. Everything you would possibly need was present. The breakfast food items were a lovely bonus. Highly recommend this property ❤️

Fantastic stay
Liked: We had a lovely stay here. The cabin is beautiful like home from home. Really cosy with a fire and all set for us to light with logs. Fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, porridge, milk and brown bread, butter and jam for breakfast. We felt right at home. The cabin is absolutely spotless and so peaceful. Highly recommend staying here. Donna is a lovely host and very friendly. Thanks again.
