    Good and small

Liked: Clean and not far from the city center. Nice people.

Disliked: It’s very smal, but that was as advertised. Also it’s an old building so you hear noses from neighbours and restaurant ventilation installations.

    Felt like a hostel

Liked: Very very basic accommodation. Location is central.

Disliked: Tiny room, tiny bathroom- no wardrobe space. Only renting a room basically. Felt like a hostel with an en suite and it certainly wasn’t cheap. Way overpriced!!

The hostess, Margaret, was very accommodating and gave us recommendations for places to go and nearby attractions

Liked: The location of the property was great. It was in town and we could walk to the restaurants and pubs.

Liked: Margaret was very charming and helpful. The key exchange worked well. Beds very comfortable and the room was clean.

Disliked: Room was very cramped with no room for even a chair. No wardrobe, just three coat hangers on coat hooks. No plug for the sink and very creaky floorboards. Over looking a very busy main road with a partially double glazed window resulted in lots of traffic noise. Our room number one was over the top of a pizza shop which was fine apart from some kind of extraction fan that started around 4pm and turned off at midnight. This room is well overpriced by Booking.com and we were really disappointed with it. We had travelled up from Wexford where we had a wonderful hotel (Whites) with pool, Deluxe room overlooking the sea and breakfast included and in a great location for a very similar price per night. What a come down.
