Fabulous
I cannot review Woodlawn, but Earles court guest house was wonderful
Liked: When I arrived at Woodlawn, I was met by the new owners who just took it over. They needed to upgrade the facility and moved me next-door to their other property, Earls Court guest house at no extra charge. The new place was wonderful and a couple and their staff were very accommodating.
Liked: Location was very good
Disliked: After booking the accommodation I messaged the property to ask we could change the accommodation to include breakfast. I was told by return that we could book it on arrival. When we asked to book breakfast on arrival we were told that this wasn’t possible, which caused us quite an inconvenience
A lovely gem in plain sight. Great location, lovely place and lovely room. We will return 👍👍
Central Killarney gem
Liked: Easy walk to central Killarney. Clean tidy room. Would have been better with a larger bed. room was spacious and well equipped. Host was helpful. Highly recommended for a great stay.
Pleasant stay
Liked: The room looked nice. Good location.
Disliked: The Tv was not working for the duration of our stay. The shower was rundown and cobwebs in places of sleeping area.
Not a Bed and Breakfast - just a bed!
Liked: Room was fine, we got a good nights sleep, no problems there. Upstairs room, perfectly suited to our needs. Shower was fine. The premises in general were decent, we hardly saw the owner. Lockbox for late arrivals.
Disliked: That there was no breakfast, it certainly wasn't made clear from booking that there would be no breakfast provided. The room contained a "breakfast allergy list" which implied there would be breakfast and the dining room was set out - clarity is needed on this. The TV in the room was not working, looking at tripadvisor reviews this has been an issue for a while. There's also a notice about Covid - seriously move with the times, covid is over 5 years at this stage. This really sums up the experience. This place is run on automatic pilot and although the owner might say he hasn't provided breakfast in a while - it really needs to be highlighted on the booking. AND CHANGE THE NOTICES IN THE BEDROOMS TO REFLECT THAT.
