Exceptional
A wonderful homey stay in a gorgeous location
Liked: We loved our stay at Agriturismo Paitin. It is a few km outside of Alba on a hill with beautiful views, surrounded by vineyards. The rooms are very homey, and the breakfast buffet was small but delicious. The owners were so welcoming, and despite some language hurdles, they were very helpful. We did not have a car, but it was quite easy to take a taxi/uber back and forth to the charming town. We ended up hiring a taxi to drive us to visit several wineries. A lovely getaway in the middle of Piedmont wine country.
Disliked: Having a car would be a bit easier, and Paitin has free parking. We were there during the White Truffle Festival, which is fun and special, but everything in the region is a bit busier. If you want to visit wineries or rent a car, be sure to do it several weeks early.

Liked: Super kind host, very accommodating to make our life with a 5 month old baby easier. On top of that, the location and views are amazing, and the breakfast is superb!
Disliked: There was not really a downside, but if we have to mention one, is that when neighbours are taking a shower late at night, you can hear it very clearly in the rooms next door, which could impact the sleep of our baby when put to bed.
Lovely place with very friendly people
Liked: Very friendly host who was very helpful. The agriturismo is in a great location with an amazing view (also from the pool), only five minutes by car from Alba. The breakfast was very tasty. The room was spacious with a good AC and comfortable bed. Also having a wine tasting at the Paitin winery in Neive is highly recommended.
Disliked: Very minor: the curtains aren't really dark
