Very good
Excellent hotel, excellent hotel!
Liked: Compared to the airbnb in Florence, BV Grand Hotel in Assisi was an excellent choice. We knew it would be busy because of St. Francis of Assisi's 800th death anniversary but the staff were professional and went above and beyond to assist their guests. The rooms were super clean and the restaurant, although busy with pilgrimage tours offered delicious food and drinks. The views were to die for.

Excellent hotel with lovely amenities and stunning views
Liked: Breakfast buffet was quite nice. Conveniently located on the Jitney bus route into the basilica area. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the restaurant. Very reasonable prices and EXCELLENT SERVICE!
Wonderful hotel with beautiful interiors and super staff!!
Liked: Overall we were very impressed. The hotel public spaces are very beautiful. The breakfast buffet was good and varied. The staff was very attentive, helpful, and exceptionally accommodating. The parking garage was very convenient, and the shuttle to Assisi was helpful. The hotel surroundings were very nice and in a quiet area.
Disliked: The hotel was very nice in every way, and the rooms were comfortable. But, the rooms seemed just a little bit dated. It’s not really a negative. Just an observation.

Disliked: Staff looked at you as your another English speaking tourist. Whispering to each other in the reception area!!!! We ask for a towel for the pool 12 euros!!! You can buy a towel for that!!! Rude. Very rude. Breakfast was terrible. Boiled eggs Cold from the fridge? Mushrooms cold? Coffee is dishwater and all the food is not tagged Gluten free Dairy free etc i asked the staff about Gluten in the food and all i got was blank look. Not a very smart organised hotel. I asked for gluten free bread and they got packaged from the back room in an old box almost out of date and hard like a rock. I did not eat. They will read this and say another stupid English speaking tourist. I can read their faces. It wont make any difference.

Disliked: The restaurant was a bit impersonal; ok for breakfast but not inviting for evening meal
