  I will dream of the day I can return to visit Villa Di Capovento

  Liked: Stella graciously invited us into their home. We were given the best room, with a full patio to watch the Chianti hills from morning to night. We had amazing dinners in the dining room - home grown tomatoes and their olive oil is the best I've ever tasted. Breakfast on the patio was a treat - fresh squeezed juice, homemade breads and pastries, and made to order eggs from their chickens. The location is great for day trips around the Chianti countryside or just hanging out by the pool. It is not too far from town, but feels like you escaped to the hills and found a quiet oasis.

  Disliked: My only wish is that I had planned to stay longer and I miss the amazing food!

  Best farm retreat

  Liked: Best farm to table food you will find. Even yogurt is homemade. You will not find a spec of dust in your room. Dinner is exceptional as well.

  Liked: Tella runs the place. She does a good job of handling the property. Nice peaceful country place.

  Disliked: Use some bug control. Unpaved road was a little bumpy but slow speed OK.
