An excellent place for a short break in Catania
Liked: Ideal central location, easy to get to all attractions. It was sympathetically decorated with excellent amenities and Monika and Martina couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming.
Disliked: Nothing
Logistically a bit challenging but otherwise good
Liked: Turns out we did not have the breakfast as we had to leave too early in the morning.
Disliked: We in our 70s and we find that we prefer being able to engage a person on site as we are not all that tech savvy. This is not your fault -- just a realization for us.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was quite basic — mostly sandwiches, cereal, a few desserts and some fruit. We usually have sandwiches for breakfast anyway, so it was enough for us. However, if you are looking for something more substantial, such as an omelette or a cooked breakfast, you probably won’t find it here.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the biggest problem during our stay was the lack of hot water. For all three evenings, there was no hot water. Every time we contacted the staff, they were friendly and replied that they were working on fixing the problem. However, the issue lasted for quite a long time, and in the end we had to choose between waiting and wasting our holiday time or taking a cold shower. My wife especially struggles with cold temperatures, so this caused quite a lot of discomfort and made the situation even more frustrating. We understand that technical problems can happen, but having no hot water for three consecutive evenings was a significant inconvenience during our stay.
Very pleasant and quiet lodging, great breakfast, anf helpful staff
Liked: The apartment was spacious, modern, and clean. The staff were helpful with parking and self-checking, as well as in the morning with a wonderful breakfast buffet.
Disliked: The location was a little further away from the historical center, and in the midst of a very large open market. It would be perfect for those who love to shop open markets.
