Exceptional
Catania is a lovely city on its own and a good home base for day trips to nearby destinations
Liked: Neighborhood is nice but a little chaotic by American standards. Very safe. Easily walkable to lots of charming bars and outdoor restaurants.
Disliked: The bed was small and not very comfortable.

Liked: A truly five-star experience in Catania! We had a wonderful stay, and everything exceeded our expectations! The location is excellent, right next to Castello Ursino and just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre. The area felt safe, and we had absolutely no issues during our stay. The apartment was spotless, recently renovated, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful little touches: coffee, fresh fruit, sweets, water, and even eggs waiting for us in the fridge! Communication with our host, Filippo, was excellent from the very beginning. He was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and respectful of our privacy. He even arranged our airport transfer, and the driver was so kind that he also dropped off our friends at their accommodation, even though it wasn't exactly on his way. And then there were Filippo's recommendations — absolutely fantastic! From restaurants and bars to clubs, local attractions, and places to explore, every suggestion helped us discover and enjoy Catania even more. It's not often that you find a place where everything comes together so nicely: great location, excellent accommodation, genuine hospitality, and a host who really cares about his guests. A true five-star experience! Thank you, Filippo, for making our stay in Catania so special. We would happily come back and definitely recommend this place!

Stylish accommodation and an excellent host
Liked: Ursinos Luxury is on the edge of the main historic centre of Catania. The rooms been tastefully renovated and offer space, a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The best part was host Filippo who explained everything carefully, recommended a good restaurant and arranged for an airport transfer. Personal service and attention to detail at a very good price.
Disliked: There is no lift and the rooms are on the top floor but Filippo helped us with our baggage on arrival and the airport transfer helped on departure.
Stop looking. Stay here. 10/10 recommend
Liked: Excellent communication via WhatsApp, parking recommendation that was secure. We were met at the parking and had assistance with bags to the accommodation. The rooms were fantastic, with one of the bedrooms overlooking the street, the other the castle. Brilliant location to explore Catania. Fantastic recommendations for dinner (the cave was incredible). And the early morning assistance with a colleague to take us to the airport was welcomed. He was prompt and met us at the accom. Late checkout for the other members of our group was appreciated. Thankyou so much. Great stay!
Disliked: Wished we had stayed longer. Loved Catania.
