Awful experience
Liked: Our experience with this hotel was totally dramatic, because we had not received our room when we arrived there and we neither received any information from the hotel regarding our booking at least explaining what is the situation and that we don’t need to come (and obviously search for another accommodation taking into consideration our late hour arrival) as the hotel got in troubles. We still have no idea what happened to the hotel but we got a very experience what of course affected our stat in beautiful Cefalu. So we simply want to warn other potential visitors to be cautious while choosing this hotel.

Liked: There was nothing I really liked. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The whole stay was quite uncomfortable. The only positive was the parking — it was quite affordable at €5 per day, and there was also the option to park for free near the hotel
Disliked: Unfortunately, our stay was quite uncomfortable. When we arrived, there was no toilet seat — just the bare toilet, which made it impossible to use properly. There was also no toilet paper or trash bags provided. The towels and bed linen were in very poor condition; one of the towels even had holes in it, as it was extremely old. The overall condition of the room and furniture was quite bad — everything looked worn-out and in need of repair. We even found a caterpillar on the wall, which added to the unpleasant experience. The outdoor area of the hotel was not maintained — there were leaves scattered everywhere and some construction materials lying around, making the space feel neglected and unwelcoming. Breakfast was just okay — not particularly good, more on the basic side. The location was also inconvenient. It took at least 20 minutes to walk to the beach, which is difficult in the heat. And even once you get there, the beach was completely overcrowded, even on a weekday, with no place to sit. We ended up having to drive 30 minutes over the mountain just to find a spot to swim. For a beach holiday, this hotel is not a good option, as the nearest beach is inaccessible due to the crowds.
