Fabulous
A great apartment and pool, located out of the bustling old town
Liked: I loved the infinity pool. The apartment was very spacious and well equiped. We chose not to stay in town since we had a car, so it was nice to come back and relax by the pool. The walk into town is good if you are up for a bit of exercise before and after dinner, which appealed to us when we booked.
Disliked: The owners were not very flexible with check in times, which was unlike our experience with our other stays in Sicily. The internet can be weak or nonexistent due to location.
Beautiful location but you do need a car
Liked: Fabulous views from balcony and lovely pool
Disliked: Can’t use the pool until after check-in or after check-out and there are many rules when around pool.
Liked: it was out of the main city but found a beautiful free public beach when walking around
Disliked: The beds were extremely uncomfortable
Far away from the old town and sand beach
Liked: We chose this place because of the pool and for most of the time we could not use it because of limited opening hours. No swim in the morning or evening which was a major inconvenience for us.
Disliked: No possibility for grocery shopping on foot. Walking to the beach did not feel safe.
Liked: The apartment had the most spectacular view and was in a very quiet area. Most days we had the pool to ourselves. Apartment itself was clean.
Disliked: The apartment is a 40 minute walk from the town. The road is very dangerous in parts to navigate with traffic and lack of footpaths. Steep in parts to walk back up. There is no shop close by, so you would need a car to get groceries and / or taxi back from town. Even a vending machine in the complex for water and drinks would help. No restaurant or bar close by either
