OK for a short stay in Cefalù, away from the stir
Liked: - Small room with kitchenette and good size shower. - 1,5 km walk to old city via seaside path. - Grocery store nearby - Free street parking - Private patio with common above-ground swimming pool - Free bicycles available
Disliked: - Check-in instructions received just a few hours before scheduled arrival time. - Delays in hostess responses. - No kitchen table chairs and the only sofa in the room is pretty worn out. - Limited dish ware & cookware. - Just a few restaurants around.

Disliked: worst experience ever. checking is real harassment. it took us a long time to figure out how the keys are taken in the middle of the night. this method of application is not good for anyone.
Suitable for guests with low expectations
Liked: Almost 3 km from Cefalù. The bicycles provided are a big plus, as you can use them to get into town. However, be aware that there is a steep hill on the way back, which you’ll have to walk up. There is a railway nearby, so passing trains can sometimes be noisy. Another advantage is the restaurant next door. The sun loungers and table outside the room are a really nice touch.
Disliked: The photos are heavily edited and do not reflect the actual condition of the property. The furniture is worn and damaged, there is severe dampness and a terrible musty smell, and the accommodation is dirty. The shower drain was clogged, and the water pressure was very low – the shower probably needs replacing. The swimming pool is tiny. There was no information provided about the possibility of using the laundry facilities. The pool is only open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., which is different from the opening hours advertised on Booking.com. I am attaching photos taken at the property to show its actual condition.No instructions were provided on how to use the gas barbecue.
I wouldn't recommend that to anyone
Disliked: I was most dissatisfied with the owners and the staff. We arrived a bit early. We were right outside our room—which was already fully prepared—yet they refused to give us the entry code until 4:00 PM. Essentially, they were uncooperative and made us wait. I called several times, but no one answered. The place is right next to the railway tracks, so there is constant noise. The pool was very dirty—it was impossible to swim in it. The day was ruined.
Liked: I had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely recommend it! The location was excellent, very quiet and peaceful, right in front of Club Med Cefalù, with plenty of free parking directly in front of the property. It’s also very walkable to the town, with a few restaurants, shops, and groceries nearby. Bikes are available as well if you prefer, but I found it very easy to get around on foot. The pool was a fantastic addition and made the stay even more enjoyable, especially after spending the whole day exploring the city and at the beach. Although I didn’t personally meet anyone from the management team, I didn’t need to. The team was very kind, responsive, and easy to reach whenever needed, and everything was handled smoothly from check-in to check-out. The property was comfortable, peaceful, and completely stress-free, which really contributed to making my vacation so enjoyable and unforgettable. I would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Cefalù. Thank you to the entire management team for a wonderful stay! I’ll definitely be back. ❤️

Basic self-catering option a 35-45 minute from Cefalu
Liked: If you like it more quiet and free street parking then it’s a good location. If you like a studio/kitchen for cooking yourself or own breakfast it’s an option. Access to a quieter part of the beach via short walk which was nice. Beautiful view of Cefalu from that side of the beach, nice walk into town (but about 1.4-2km, took me about 35-45 minutes)
Disliked: The bed and sheets was very uncomfortable had some sort of plastic cover, the sheets also were partly synthetic and therefore the bed felt quite warm. Mattress and pillows were not comfortable. Check in procedure was not clear (as in where to find the key and that I had to provide my passport before getting access to the key/pin). The kitchen has very basic equipment. Lucky I didn’t need to cook. The parking on the street is still limited, or you park on a scratchy bush or a small walk. Cycling is only an option if you’re prepared to walk up and down hill and carry the bike some stairs. Only basic bikes, tyres were not fully pumped up, so not really usable in my opinion. The pool was so hot like a hot tub in June, so not really the refreshing experience I was hoping for. For all that it was very expensive for 1 night 1 person… The walk back from Cefalu is a long walk in the night… so I took a taxi from the centre which cost me €15
