Fabulous
A great base for a Cefalù visit if eating out
Liked: Location is excellent - in the old town but thankfully set a little back from the noisy main streets. A beautiful and atmospheric street on a steep hill that rises up from the harbour area. Lots of storage space. Charming balcony.
Disliked: A communal fridge was provided but this could be really enhanced if a basic kitchen was also provided - small hob, sink, utensils, table. It might even be nice to socialise with the other guests (there is one other room). There was a noisy machine (extractor fan?) on the middle floor area during the day although it doesn't disturb in the bedroom.
Liked: Good room size.
Disliked: Not very good sound isolation.
This was a small, clean minimally appointed room in a good location for a good value
Liked: This was a nice clean although somewhat small room that is located very near the beach. The room was perfectly clean but without some small amenities such as a minifrig that one finds in many hotel rooms. All in all it served our needs. If we had to do it again we might look for something that was a bit larger and with some of this little amenities. We were in Cefalu for a few days and were at the beach for some of that time. Having a bit more space to deal with damp swimming clothes and towels would have been a better choice on our part. We had not issues checking in. The proprietor was very communicative and helpful. No complaints at all. The room is located on a small street that is heavily used by folks headed to the beach and other sections of Cefalu, so you can expect a bit of street noise. Not a problem but worth considering.
Disliked: Something a little bigger would have served our needs a bit better. While the location had its advantages it was on a heavily trafficked street with a bit of noise.
Nice, cozy place
Liked: Location is in the old part of the city, very close to the beach and walking area. Apartment is spacious, has a nice terrace above the street and nice view at the sea from bathroom:) All in all, it was well worth staying here.
Disliked: Nothing.
Liked: Location was excellent Accommodation comfortable, room very clean &tidy It is a long way to the top of the 2nd set of steps, not complaining as we knew before we booked, but a room fridge, kettle, cups would have been a lovely reward.
Disliked: All good.
