Liked: The hotel failed to tell us that they have major building works going on in the grounds of the property plot. We had a crane, drilling & cutting noise within approximately 50 metres of our bedroom. The noise was restricted until 8.00 am and generally finished at around 16.00 hours. We had a nice in stay in Garda but feel it is inappropriate to schedule this building work in the height of the season and in such close proximity to certain guest rooms and the swimming pool. Guests should be notified of this work prior to arrival and those affected by the work offered a discount. The property is well kept, the staff are very helpful and the town of Garda is beautiful.

Liked: Great location, good service, choice of dining but also right next to the centre with a wide range of dining. Whilst close to the centre the hotel was very peaceful.
