Top class hotel
Liked: Lovely hotel with excellent facilities and a very classy reception area
Disliked: Minor fault, the location was more than 10 minutes walk away from the main street.

Cute hotel but needs renovation
Liked: Liked the old style room furniture, thermal pool with untreated water. Young ladies at reception were always smiling and polite. They have a SPA with treatments but I didn’t have time to experience it.
Disliked: Ants in room, the staff is aware but doesn’t do anything. Pigeons were waking me up at 6am making noise and shitting on the balcony terrace. View is not nice, on the unorganised and ugly roof. Noise from outside like a generator/pump. Breakfast was not good, very small selection and not of great quality. The hotel clientele is only retired people.
Hotel for oldies. Quite depressing

Disliked: Staff looks always moody or not very concerns about guests. One made a mess bcz I was asking them to lend me a bottle opener.. basically refused it.
Pleasant surroundings and good value
Liked: The room was bright and had a nice sized balcony. Lovely air con in reception and the swimming pool looked inviting..
Disliked: It was a long uphill walk from the port. Around 30 min with cases on cobbled pavements. And around 15 min walk down to the castle the other side. There is a shuttle bus to the beach area but this is odd because the beach isn’t actually far to walk. The swimming pool is outdoor and not heated at all. But also not cooled either. So it was like a bath when I stayed in early August. The only way to get relief from the heat was to have a shower. The pool looked nice it’s a shame it was too warm for swimming. The breakfast was not great. Not many varieties of food no fresh fruit or tomatoes etc that I could see. No tea and coffee maker in the rooms. Had to pay extra for the pool towel and wear a swimming cap in the pool too. I didn’t try the spa area.
Disliked: Very outdated. A bit far from everything. Had very unpleasant experience, that the restaurant manager instisted that I eat the breakfast outside the restaurant, claiming everything was occupied (at 7 am, where only 5 other people were there). Enormously rude person, very unpleasant. The whole hotel is like labyrinth. Loud music every evening.
