  Never ever been so close to the ocean and the staff are very friendly (hi Bisza!)

  Liked: Its proximity to the beach. You don’t get ANY closer than this otherwise the hotel would be in the water. The hotel even had a sauna (felt like a steam room), thermal pool and other pool. I had a single room, which is quite small but the balcony was huge. The weather was amazing and I could wash my undies in the sink and hang them on the balcony (yes there was a cute little hanging rope with pegs). The room is nothing special and there’s no aircon but there is a fan. I loved waking up each morning and having a complete ocean view. The hotel is built on a cliff. Truly remarkable.

  Disliked: It’s not easy to get to and isn’t for people with mobility issues. You need to get a boat from Sant’Angelo (€5 + €2 per bag). For me it was fine, I can hop in and out of boats into knee-deep water but for those who couldn’t, there’s other parts of the island you can visit. Breakfast was quite basic and could definitely be improved with a bit of love. Had breakfast been better I would have tried the lunch or dinner at the hotel but it was quite pricey and didn’t think I’d get good value. Hot chocolate for breakfast was great though.

  So close to the beach!

  Liked: Amazing staff and food!!! And location, the hotel is right at the beach so you don’t have to travel! There’s a lot of restaurants close by!

  Disliked: Lack of AC in a room, it was very uncomfortable to sleep at night due to the high temperature

  Liked: You go down the hotel stairs directly on the beach. It was so inviting that most of the guests, including me, went for a swim before breakfast or had a swim just before supper. There is a spa in the hotel, though small, yet good enough for the locals to come spend the weekend there. The kitchen was also good, so I never got a chance to try one of the restaurants in the neighborhood. But again, the proximity of the beach is so special.

  Disliked: To get to the hotel you have to walk the whole length of the beach (900 m) with the luggage over makeshift wooden planks. The hotel offers some kind of transport, but I never got to try it out, because my arrival and departure never matched their slots.

  Liked: Simple, but lovely! Sea view, small thermal water pool and douche, free sunbeds, kind owners, adventourous walking path from the bus stop:D I can only recommend!

  in the whole, the location ballanced out all possible negative points

  Liked: The location of the hotel is fine, a small problem was 'transportation' to the hotel. The beach excellent as well as the view from the room. The dinners were well organized.The personnel was friendly.

  Disliked: The breakfasts were rather poor quality. When I asked to provide me with 2 sunny side up eggs instead of hard boiled eggs peovided I was charged 6 eur extra regardless the fact that breakfast was included in the price of room!?
