  Liked: We were fortunate to find the Albergo very last minute. The one star rating must be because it’s a sweet, charming and simple room that one can easily enjoy on a budget. It is not a one star place however. The owners are very attentive, helpful and have taken great care in creating a great place to stay in the middle of class and fairytale like setting. And it’s worth paying for breakfast too! We would have loved to stayed longer. I believe we were blessed to have stumbled upon this spot.

  Disliked: We only wish we could have stayed longer.

  Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Lady Maria who served breakfast.

  Disliked: The 30 euro charge after 8 pm put us under pressure and was not mentioned until after booking.

  Very enjoyable stay. Thank you!

  Liked: very well located in lovely Lazise. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well maintained. Good breakfast. Nice balcony overlooking the ancient walls.

  Disliked: The only negative is that we were notified after booking that would have to pay a surcharge of 30 euros if checking in after 8pm, so that made the journey from the airport more stressful than needed to be. I think the hotel would benefit from removing that surcharge, particularly as the adjoining bar and restaurant are open much later and could easily manage handing over the key. Otherwise, everything perfect!

  Not worth the views

  Liked: The area where the hotel is is very nice

  Disliked: We arrived as planned on Saturday, the room was dirty and air conditioning did not work even with window shut. We opened the balcony right into a restaurant which was not pictured or mentioned on the booking. The website only has pictures with a tent under the balcony, please not this is rarely shut and quite misleading, we were unaware of the balcony being inside the restaurant. Due to the dirtiness and the air conditioning not working we asked to move rooms. No response from hotel so we checked out next day, the girl explained she would normally refund us right away however as it’s through booking we need to message then they can sort it out. The hotel did not reply for days and are now saying they will not refund us. It’s unfortunate as the area is beautiful and we thought the staff were nice at the time until messaging us now. Hopefully they can speak to whoever guaranteed our refund and sort it out. I have move videos of the dirt but can’t attach. We checked into another hotel near by that was actually cheaper and so beautiful, definitely look around instead of staying here

  I would not hesitate to recommend Albergo Tecla. We had a very enjoyable stay

  Liked: Lucca the host was friendly and helpful. Bed was really comfortable and continental breakfast buffet very good. The fresh baguettes and coffee delicious. Location was perfect. We will be coming back again.

  Liked: Perfect location and good breakfast. Hosts really nice. Room and bed very comfortable.

  Disliked: The drain in the bathroom was really smelly and unpleasant all the time. The shower is too small.
