  Liked: We have stayed here many times over the years. It is not quite up to its earlier standards. But it is still amazing location, and some of the rooms in front with balconies and lake/harbor view are still great.

  Disliked: It is no fault of Oreste Suites, but Lasize can be quiet overrun by tourists these days. On Sunday nite of our stay, a nearby music group, with amplified bass speakers, rattled all windows of the the entire village until after midnight—it was a poor night’s sleep at our hotel.

  Liked: Left a nice little supply of snacks for breakfast which they kept restocking, place was spotless with clean bedding and towels daily, balcony and view was great! Being able to hire a boat outside also great as well as the shops and restaurants on the front and stunning lake views. Location within the castle walls is stunning.

  Disliked: Check in was not as advertised on booking info. Between 4pm and 6pm you cannot check in, they email you this. Info also says you can bring the car round to check in. It’s not possible to bring a car round to the front entrance at all. There’s no lift so you have to lift your bags up quite a large number of steep stairs - if you problems with your walking you’re going to have an issue with the stairs. Air con was not blowing cold so couldn’t get the room temp down, WiFi speed and latency was bad therefore barely usable. Tv remote had leaking batteries and didn’t work, so tv useless.

  Liked: This is a fabulous small hotel on the harbour. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. Lovely little extras like snacks in the room and a fridge in the hallway with water and drinks available for a charge. We had a balcony overlooking the lake which was amazing. Check in and check out was easy and the staff were very helpful. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job, the room cleaned and tidied each day of our stay. I can highly recommend this place, we will definitely be back.
