  A special house in Lipari, with a beautiful view

  Liked: First of all, I start with the evaluation of the communication with the owner. In a word, excellent. Walter provided us in the most explicit way with all the necessary information. Before arriving at the property, he sent us videos of the way to the guesthouse, where to find the keys, how to light the stove, how to store household waste, etc. The location of the guesthouse was excellent for us. Close to the historic center, very close to the ferry boarding place, but at the same time in a very quiet location. A warning here for those who come especially to go to the beach. In this case, our advice would be to look for accommodation in Canneto. The guesthouse is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very chic and unusual furniture. We had a large and very pleasant yard, only ours. The view is absolutely amazing. The house is practically surrounded by windows on almost all sides. Although there are blinds, we warn here those who do not tolerate heat very well. The whole house consists of a bedroom with a bathroom and a huge closed terrace, which takes the place of the living room and kitchen. We really liked the idea. There is another outdoor terrace, but due to the excessive heat and humidity on the island, it can only be used in the evening.

  Disliked: First of all, we pay attention to those who do not tolerate heat very well. The architecture of the house does not allow a lower temperature inside. There is air conditioning in the bedroom, so sleep is as comfortable as possible. But in the rest of the house, the walls being practically made up of windows that can be opened almost all of them, I don't see an air conditioner being effective. Keep in mind that during the summer, the temperature frequently exceeds 30 degrees Celsius and the humidity on the island reaches values of 80-90%

  Liked: Very nice little house with a big terrace and fantastic sea view. Close to the harbour and the centre of Lipari town. Very good spot to explore the aeolian islands!

  Amanzing house, I could have spent a month here

  Liked: Amazing house, very close to Lipari port (5 minutes on foot), 50 meter away from beachfront. You can get to Lipari centre in 10 minutes on foot. Communication prior to arrival and check in was very easy, Walter was very flexible with the arrival time. I catched an earlier hydrofoil as originally planned, texted Walter and he made sure that the house was ready by my arrival time. Upon arrival he gave me the keys and a very informative house tour. The house is perfect for 1 or 2 people, it's very vell equipped and nicely refurbished, you have everything that you just need, incl. a nice garden and rooftop terrace. The view is stunning, you can watch the rising sun above the sea directly when you step out of your bedroom in the morning. Late check out was also not an issue, I really liked the flexibility of Walter and the privacy and comfort this house gave me. I definitely would like to return, eventually for a longer stay.

  Disliked: Tap water is not potable, but it's not the house's fault, it applies to the whole island. A kettle in the kitchen would be a nice addition. There is no washing machine in the house - this is the only thing I would miss if I booked a longer stay here (other than that the house is perfectly suitable for longer stays).
